Futsal Skills
WHAT:
Winter Futsal is 7 or 8 50 minute sessions where players can refine their ball skills via small-sided pick-up games.
Futsal uses a low-bounce ball. Games are 4v4 plus keepers. Unlike indoor soccer, players can not use the wall.
WHY:
Developing ball skills at early age is very important to be able to compete at the high school and college level.
WHO:
Boys and Girls from u8 through u18. (Must be at least 7 years old by August 1st of this year.)
WHERE:
The sessions will be held at Four Seasons Sports Complex on Field 3. Contact Bill Warburton at bill@warburton1.com for more details.
WHEN:
Friday evenings from 6pm to 11pm in January and February.
FORMAT:
Younger age groups will receive about 20-30 minutes of ball skill training followed by a 20-30 minute pick-up game. Older age groups (i.e. High school JV and Varsity) will warm-up and then play pick-up games. No coaches, standings or scores! Players just come to learn, play and have fun!
HOW MUCH:
